I believe that learning should be creative, fun, and friendly—especially when it comes to reading. My approach centres around fostering a love of books and encouraging children to read for pleasure. Every child is unique, so I offer personalised tuition tailored to their individual needs and learning styles. Through engaging activities and a supportive environment, I focus on improving outcomes, helping children build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in reading and beyond.
Payment for the trial session is made at the time of booking through our secure Stripe payment system, where you can pay using your credit or debit card.
For future sessions, payments will be invoiced monthly in advance. Please note that sessions will not be scheduled or go ahead without prior payment.
Booking a trial session is easy! Simply complete the booking form on our website. Alternatively, if you'd like to discuss your child's needs before booking, feel free to email, WhatsApp, or call me, and I’ll be happy to answer any questions and help you choose the right sessions for your child.
The great thing about our online group tutoring is that all sessions are recorded and uploaded to the cloud. If your child can't make a session, you'll receive a link to the recording, which will be available for up to 28 days. This way, your child can catch up on the material at a time that suits them. If you or your child have any questions about the content of the session, feel free to contact me for further clarification or support.

Yes! You can easily book a one-off trial session by filling in the booking form on our website. This will give you and your child a chance to experience the session and see if it's a good fit. After the trial, I will follow up with you to discuss how the session went and whether you'd like to book further sessions.
You are not tied into any long-term commitments. If you wish to cancel your child's tutoring sessions, I kindly ask for two weeks' notice as per my terms and conditions. This allows me to offer the available space to children on the waiting list and ensure a smooth transition. If you have any questions or need to discuss the cancellation further, feel free to contact me directly.

For our Zoom sessions, it's important that your child has a quiet, comfortable space to access the lesson, with a laptop or computer that has a working camera and mic. While you are welcome to sit in or listen in on the session, please be aware that your child may behave differently if you are sitting directly next to them throughout the lesson, compared to if you're simply in the background. This helps them feel more independent and engaged in the learning experience.
Your child will need access to a laptop or computer with a working mic, camera, keyboard, and mouse to fully participate in the session. Occasionally, they may also need to download Microsoft Office documents (such as Word or PowerPoint files), which will be emailed to you in advance of the session. This ensures they have everything needed to engage with the lesson and complete any tasks. Book club members will need to buy the book in advance of the sessions.
These group sizes have been carefully chosen to balance personalisation with engagement. With smaller groups, each child receives the individual attention they need to build confidence, while still benefiting from the energy and collaboration of a group setting.
Each session is carefully structured to suit the specific focus of the lesson, ensuring that your child stays engaged while making meaningful progress.
If your child's tutoring group isn't full, I will still continue to tutor your child or children in the group at the same price advertised. As the year progresses, other children may join the group, ensuring that your child still benefits from the group setting while maintaining the same level of personalised attention. You can rest assured that the quality of tuition will remain high, regardless of group size.
Yes, we have a GDPR policy in place for our online group reading tuition. This policy ensures that all personal data is handled securely and in compliance with data protection regulations. Regarding Zoom recordings, please note that children's faces will not appear in the recordings to protect their privacy. We take every precaution to ensure your child’s personal information is kept safe and that their learning experience is secure. If you have any specific questions about our GDPR practices, please feel free to contact us.
If you're looking for 1:1 tuition specifically for your child, please contact me directly to discuss further options. As part of our onboarding process, every new tutee will receive one 1:1 session for the price of a group session. This session allows me to better understand your child's needs before they join a group and ensures that I can select the most suitable group for them. If you'd like your child to have more than one 1:1 session before joining a group, we can discuss further options and pricing to tailor the support to your child's requirements.
